Teen workshop on smartphone filmmaking at Buchanan Library, every Wednesday in July, teaching techniques for high-quality videos.

Smarphone Film Making (in partnership with Cultural Arts Everywhere)

A dynamic, hands-on workshop for teens teaches participants how to create high-quality films using just a smartphone. From storytelling and shot composition to lighting, sound, and editing, attendees will learn practical techniques to transform everyday devices into powerful filmmaking tools. Ideal for beginners and creatives alike, this workshop empowers participants to produce compelling, professional-looking videos with confidence and creativity. Lunch is provided. Teen Takeover is every Wednesday in July from 10am to 2pm

Calling all tweens and teens (ages 11–17)! Join us every Wednesday in July from 10am to 2pm to be part of our Teen Takeover! A FREE lunch will be provided at these extended programs, which will include some time spent doing service projects (cleaning up around the Common, light gardening, etc.), participating in activities to promote leadership, creativity, and problem solving, and time to hang out with friends in the library’s Community Room. Registration is requested but not required.
